The high-voltage connecor is a central component of the MEB high-voltage battery. It serves as an interface for all electrical connections and thus ensures the functionality of the battery in the vehicle. All relevant current flows are controlled via the connector. In addition, a pressure equalisation element is integrated into the connector, which ensures safe pressure equalisation within the battery and thus protects against overpressure. In addition to reliable current transmission, the connector fulfils an important function in sealing the battery system against external influences.
