For over 45 years, the widap group has been developing, producing and selling high-quality power resistors, load banks and film capacitors at its four European sites. Our wide product range includes power resistors from 5 W to 100 kW. Our load banks are designed for outputs up to the MW range. Our core competency lies in the development of customer-specific design-in system solutions, such as resistance assemblies, which we design in close collaboration with our customers. The S.I.R. Srl Società Italiana Resistor is an Italian manufacturer of power resistors for industrial applications. The S.I.R. product portfolio Srl Società Italiana Resistor includes all resistor designs, such as open wound, cemented, glazed and encapsulated power resistors from 3 W to 100 kW with protection class up to IP 65. Our power resistors are used in a variety of industries, including power electronics, renewable energies, railway technology, industrial automation and electromobility. We are certified according to ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
