They help to reduce voltage fluctuations and peaks, making the power electronics more stable and efficient. Electrical properties: High dielectric strength, long service life. The main function of snubber capacitors is to attenuate switching overvoltages and reduce switching losses. They protect the circuit from overvoltages caused by inductances in the circuits.
