Referent: Wolfgang Höfer, KERAFOL
This presentation explores the evolving requirements for Thermal Interface Materials (TIMs) in battery systems by comparing automotive applications with stationary Energy Storage Systems (ESS). It will also address the industry trend from Cell-to-Pack to Cell-to-Module concepts and the resulting implications for TIM selection and design. In addition, the presentation will provide a brief overview of Battery Management Systems (BMS), comparing TIM requirements in automotive and stationary energy storage applications.
