One event, many presentation opportunities
Conference oral presentation
A conference presentation at the PCIM Conference lasts 20 minutes including Q&A session. You present your topic in one of the six conference rooms at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. The conference language is English. Therefore, please note that you will submit your abstract in English and prepare the manuscript as well as your presentation in English.
Poster presentation
The poster sessions are a special format for direct exchange between speakers and interested attendees. You present your research topic as a poster on one of the three conference days at the Nuremberg Exhibition Center. In doing so, you display the contents of your topic on a poster and are available for interested participants for a 1:1 exchange. For even more reach, exhibition participants also have free access to the poster session. The conference language is English.
Seminar
The educational seminars will take place on the two days before the PCIM Expo & Conference on 4 and 5 May 2025 at the Arvena Park Hotel in Nuremberg and are characterized by the direct exchange in small groups as well as their workshop character. The half-day seminars last around 3 hours plus breaks. The conference language is English.

Submission requirements for conference and poster presentations
If you are applying for a conference or poster presentation, please submit the following documents:
- Title of your presentation (max. 100 characters)
- Short description (max. 500 characters)
- Biography (max. 500 characters)
- Abstract (please use the Word-Template or LaTeX-Template without your name due to the blind review process)
- CV (only if you want to apply for one of the awards or the Student Travel Grants)
Submission requirements for seminars
If you are applying for a seminar, the following documents are required from you:
- Synopsis of the seminar (about 1-3 pages, please use the Word-Template or LaTeX-Template)
- Title of the seminar (max. 100 characters)
- Short description (max. 2.500 characters)
- Biography of the speakers (max. 650 characters)
- The expected benefits from attending the seminar (500 characters)
- Definition of audience: Who should participate in the seminar? (max. 200 characters)
- High resolution image of all presenters

If the submission is accepted, there is a reduced registration fee of 490 Euro + 19% VAT for the participation as a speaker at PCIM Conference.

- Notification of acceptance in January 2025
- Submission of your full manuscript until 4 March 2025 (only for a conference or poster presentation)
All submitted abstracts will be submitted to the PCIM Advisory Board for evaluation. Relevant evaluation criteria that decide on acceptance or rejection include the actuality and relevance of the topic, the preparation of the documents and the significance of the abstract. If your submitted paper is accepted, you will present it at the PCIM Expo & Conference in Nuremberg from 6. – 8.05.2025, or on 4 – 5.5.2025 as part of an accepted seminar.
