Submission requirements for conference and poster presentations
If you are applying for a conference or poster presentation, please submit the following documents:
- Title of your presentation (max. 100 characters)
- Short description (max. 500 characters)
- Biography (max. 500 characters)
- Abstract (please use the Word-Template or LaTeX-Template without your name due to the blind review process)
- CV (only if you want to apply for one of the awards or the Student Travel Grants)
Submission requirements for seminars
When applying for a seminar, please submit the following documents:
- Summary of the seminar (approx. 1–3 pages; please use the Word template or LaTeX template)
- Title of the seminar (max. 100 characters)
- Brief description of the seminar (max. 2,500 characters)
- Biographies of all speakers (max. 650 characters)
- High-resolution portrait photos of all speakers (min. 300 dpi)
- Expected benefits: What advantages does participation in the seminar offer (max. 500 characters)
- Definition of the target audience: Who should attend the seminar? (max. 200 characters)
If a submission is accepted for a conference presentation as a speaker at the PCIM Conference, a reduced registration fee of €590 plus 19% VAT applies. If a submission is accepted for a seminar presentation, no costs are incurred.

- 14.10.2026: Conference contribution – Submission of the abstract
- 14.10.2026: Seminar – Submission of the synopsis
- January 2027: Notification of acceptance and fee-based registration for speakers.
- 9.3.2027: Submission of your full manuscript (mandatory only for a conference or poster presentation)
- 14.4.2027: Submission of seminar documentation
All submitted abstracts will be submitted to the PCIM Advisory Board for evaluation. The relevant evaluation criteria that determine whether an abstract is accepted or rejected include the actuality and relevance of the topic, the preparation of the documents and the significance of the abstract. Submitted abstracts will be treated confidentially; the review process will be conducted as a blind review.
If your submitted paper is accepted, you will present it at the PCIM Expo & Conference in Nuremberg from 11. – 13.5.2027, or on 9. – 10.5.2027 as part of an accepted seminar. The accepted abstract must first be presented at the PCIM Conference; presentation at other events or in publications is permitted only thereafter.
