ACFJ-3405 12A Gate Drive Optocoupler with Slew Rate Control & Functional Safety Features

The ACPL-736J is an ±50mV optically isolated sigma-delta modulator that accepts external clocks up to 21MHz.

It operates from a 5V power supply and achieves an SNR of 81 dB. The small input range of ±50 mV enables higher current measurements with lower shunt heat dissipation. It is ideal for direct connection to shunt resistors or other low-level signal sources in applications such as motor phase current measurement.

The ACPL-736J's isolated digital output interfaces operate from a 3V to 5.5V power supply. The ACPL-736J receives clock signal from an external source and streams out Σ-Δ bitstream in accordance with the input voltage sensing level through the CMOS output interface.

Offered in a SO-16 package, the optically isolated ACPL-736J delivers reliable and superior over-temperature performance motor drive designers need to measure current accurately compared to traditional current transducers.

The ACPL-334J and ACPL-338J are 3A gate drive optocouplers with integrated IGBT protection and fault reporting. These devices feature common mode transient immunity (CMTI) greater than 100 kV/μs and provide minimal propagation delay with excellent timing skew. The high peak output current and wide operating voltage range eliminates the need for an output buffer circuit, enabling designers to implement cost-effective isolated gate drive solutions for motor drives and power inverters.

Packaged in a compact, surface-mountable SO-16 package, ACPL-334J and ACPL-338J are a pin-to-pin upgrades for the ACPL-332J (with non-automatic FAULT reset) and ACPL-338J (with automatic FAULT reset) respectively. They are certified to provide reinforced galvanic isolation with 1,414VPEAK working voltage meeting safety regulatory IEC/EN/DIN, UL, and CSA.
