Partner at Strategy&

Tanjeff Schadt is a Partner at Strategy& and an advisor to global semiconductor, high-tech, software and automotive clients. With his profound industrial and strategy consulting experience, he focuses on innovation, digitization, data and analytics, capabilities-driven strategy and growth. He is a member of our telecommunications and technology practice and is based in the Munich office.

Tanjeff’s recent assignments and publications focus on the growth strategies related to the semiconductor industry and the application of high-tech, e.g. in automotive. He has extensive expertise in disrupted supply chains with focus on semiconductors and electronics. Tanjeff also advises governments and industry clients on semiconductor funding strategies.

Prior to joining Strategy&, he has held various management positions in the electronics and software industry. Tanjeff has gained rich industry experience by working in R&D and Strategy departments, e.g., a high-end sensor provider for security solutions in Germany. He is a graduate engineer for opto-electronics and digital image processing with a diploma from the Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and holds an MBA in General Management from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management in Munich and the Pfeiffer University of Charlotte, North Carolina.

More Information will follow.

Jörg Schulze
institute director at Fraunhofer IISB

Jörg Schulze talks about: How can AI-enabled R&D be designed to offload routine tasks and truly liberate researchers’ ‘next-gen power’: their creativity and capacity for disruptive innovation?

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jörg Schulze assumed the leadership of Fraunhofer IISB in Erlangen in 2021 and, in a dual role, also holds the Chair of Electronic Devices (LEB) at Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg (FAU). After intermediate stages in Munich and Los Angeles, the trained physicist accepted a call in 2008 to become a full professor and Director of the Institute of Semiconductor Engineering at the University of Stuttgart, where he provided significant technological impetus until his move to Erlangen. Fraunhofer IISB covers the entire value chain for next-generation power electronics, ranging from base materials, semiconductor technology and device fabrication to complex electronic systems. Building on his background in microelectronics, Jörg Schulze pursues a holistic approach that addresses the extreme performance and reliability requirements at the system level already during material and device development.

With a constant focus on global developments and industry needs, Jörg Schulze is consistently setting the course at Fraunhofer IISB for the technological development of new (ultra-)wide bandgap semiconductors, contributing to the technological and economic sovereignty of Germany and Europe.
