DEWETRON
Product: THE ADVANCED POWER ANALYZER: DEWE3-PA8

THE ADVANCED POWER ANALYZER: DEWE3-PA8

Description

A DEWETRON DEWE3-PA8 is the solution for analysis of several motors, converters or complete drive trains simultaneously. Up to 16 power channels and the capability for calculation of power parameters even for polyphase motors (up to 9 phases) turns the DEWE3-PA8 into a multi power analyzer.

The new 8-slot PXIe backplane, which supports the brand-new TRION3-series, allows sampling rates up to 10MS/s. Combined with high speed SSD technology a data throughput of up to 1GB/s is possible. With this feature, you get every single sample into your data file, not just a few seconds.

Smart interface technology makes it easy to integrate a DEWE3-PA8 into automation systems and test bed environments while it is guaranteeing reliable data transmission, easy to use remote control and remote configuration through TCP/IP based protocols in compliance with standardized protocols (e.g. ASAM) and file formats.

Dedicated measurement displays with classic design provide critical data values at a glance. A predefined measurement display for each user defined group of power channels presents an overview table, vector scope and harmonic chart. Different styling presets and data presentation tools are available to tailor the display to your exclusive needs.

The 11.6” high resolution display is very bright for maximum readability and ample space for user defined screens.

Analysis of harmonics, interharmonics and higher frequencies as well as voltage fluctuations and flicker emissions are done according to industry standard.

You need more input channels? No problem, the PA8-series can be extended in many ways. Just add another TRION™/ TRION3 module, if there is a free slot or use a TRIONet or another Front-end system for a higher channel count. Data is automatically synchronized across all channels.

The integrated transducer power supply enables the engineer to relinquish an additional supply box and connect the transducers directly to the DEWE3-PA8.

Fast acquisition rates and 18-bit A/D conversion as well as the best linearity of the signal conditioning offers the highest dynamic performance in the whole input range. Thanks to the low power error of 0.03 %, the DEWE3-PA8 archives a very high accuracy, even with low range utilization. Precision accuracy is guaranteed through the whole analysis.

The easy to integrate turnkey power analyzer: LITE[PA]

The easy to integrate turnkey power analyzer: LITE[PA]

The LITE[PA] is available with 4 or 8 phases, ensuring high-precision measurements. It is compatible with all common current sensors, includes standard inputs for speed and torque, and offers seamless data exchange via CAN, Ethernet and USB. Ideal for laboratory use, test stand, or end-of-line applications.

The LITE[PA] features 4 or 8 fixed high-voltage inputs and up to 8 selectable sub-modules to connect all state-of-the-art current sensors. The fixed inputs for high voltages offer a range of ±2000 VPEAK, a 5 MHz bandwidth, a 2 MS/s sampling rate and a CAT III 1000 V safety class. The selectable sub-Modules are compatible with all current sensors and direct current measurement.

The power accuracy of DEWETRON’s LITE[PA] is stunning. Compared to other power analyzers available on the market, it offers a constant power accuracy of 0.04 % from 0.5 Hz to 1000 Hz fundamental frequency. High-precision measurements over a wide frequency range are an easy task with the LITE[PA] and central requirement for test stand applications.

The LITE[PA] is ready to be easily integrated into a wide variety of host systems. In addition to the CAN-bus, the data can also be transmitted via Ethernet, with various protocols such as SCPI or XCP. The remote control is usually done via SCPI; extensive commands are available to e.g. load predefined setups, make trigger settings etc.

The LITE[PA] power analyzer has a bright 11.6” multi-touch Full-HD display for quick and easy operation. You can use our intuitive measurement software OXYGEN via simple multitouch gestures and smart visuals like you would on a smartphone. Alternatively, you can connect a keyboard and a mouse too.
