Linear Servo motors
Description
Nippon Pulse's family of Linear Shaft Motors is the next generation linear brushless motor.
When reliability, zero maintenance, zero cogging, and precision are paramount, the Linear Shaft Motors from Nippon Pulse are an ideal component choice, offering the user uncompromised performance, ease of use, compact package size, and high value.
Our Linear Shaft Motors are more efficient than other similarly sized cylindrical linear motors. This is a product of the patented shaft design. This is reflected in the smaller package size and the high rated force constant of each motor.
The Linear Servo Motor’s shaft is a series of NIB Magnets placed on a non-ferrous rod in such a manner that there is no space between each magnet; this produces the structural strength of the Linear Shaft Motor. This structure is then placed in a protective stainless steel tube. When the non-ferrous rod is tensioned in the protective stainless steel tube a very rigid shaft is produced. This patented process is what allows the Linear Shaft Motor to achieve strokes of up to 4.6meters long. The linear motors can operate in heavy environments, vacuum and are waterproof (IP67)
Simple drive.
The Linear Shaft Motors have built-in flexibility to cater to most servo amplifiers. They can be driven by traditional three phase brushless DC servo (also called AC servo) drives. Several units can be networked to achieve a cluster of Linear Shaft Motors that can be synchronized with am network controller or a PC
