NürnbergMesse actively promotes a safe and respectful environment for all visitors and exhibitors at events held at the Nuremberg exhibition venue. As an organizer, we of course support this concept at the PCIM Expo & Conference.
On-site measures
Trained staff
Should you find yourself in an unpleasant situation or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the security, cloakroom or catering staff. You can use the code word “Is LUISA here?” to discreetly draw attention to your situation without having to explain yourself. If you mention the code word, trained staff will assist you quickly and confidentially.
Posters on the exhibition grounds
Informative posters are displayed in all restroom areas and central contact points (ServicePoint, cloakrooms) that highlight measures to prevent sexual harassment and discrimination. These posters contain important information about the support services as well as the code word “Is LUISA here?” to quickly and confidentially provide you with help in uncomfortable situations.
Creation of a “SaferSpace”
NürnbergMesse has also established a “SaferSpace” - a protected area where people can retreat. There is also a NeedingsBox with various aids that can be used. Security, cloakroom and catering staff will accompany you to the retreat area.
These measures are part of NürnbergMesse's commitment to a safe trade fair experience. All visitors and exhibitors should feel comfortable and respected at the fair.
