Competence in Power: Ainuo and HEIDEN Join Forces

9 Jun 2026

As the demand for energy-efficient power electronics testing grows, Ainuo Instrument Co., Ltd. and German-based HEIDEN power GmbH have entered a strategic partnership. The result is the cutting-edge ANRGL(F) Series Regenerative Grid Load, designed to set new standards in four-quadrant operation and energy recovery. The transition towards renewable energy and e-mobility requires testing equipment that is both highly precise and exceptionally efficient. Addressing this industry demand, Ainuo and HEIDEN power have united under the motto “COMPETENCE IN POWER.” This collaboration leverages Ainuo’s advanced digital control methods and HEIDEN power’s established European market expertise, delivering robust solutions for complex power testing environments.

Technological Innovations

At the core of this partnership is the ANRGL(F) Series Regenerative Grid Load. Engineered with advanced SPWM technology and FPGA digital processing, this system offers versatile AC, DC, and AC+DC output modes. A key differentiator in today’s energy-conscious market is its ability to operate as a constant current source across all four quadrants with 100% rated power feedback to the grid. By returning power efficiently to the grid instead of dissipating it as heat, the system significantly reduces energy waste and lowers operational costs—a crucial advantage for facilities running large-current test conditions.

Advanced Testing Capabilities

To meet rigorous design and production verification requirements, the ANRGL(F) series features comprehensive harmonic synthesis, capable of generating 2 to 50 times interharmonics with a synthesis bandwidth of 3,000 Hz. The system scales effortlessly, reaching up to 180 kVA capacity through single-phase or three-phase parallel operation.

Combined with an intuitive 8-inch color LCD and fully programmable sequence modes, the equipment is perfectly suited for device manufacturers, quality inspection centers, and certification bodies testing low voltage distribution devices. Ultimately, the Ainuo and HEIDEN power partnership provides the power electronics industry with a highly adaptable, energy-efficient testing solution for the future.
